The city of manufacturing, Waekefield is the backbone of Etharia, providing the continent with the products necessary for life. The main hub for furniture creation and overall manufacturing, it is the city that creates most of the goods that are exported out of the country via trade. Waekefield is truly a working district overall, though tourists love to visit due to its natural steampunk aesthetic. The bustling factories and multi-million-dollar companies provide various job positions for those in search of something to do.
This city is known for its massive skyscrapers, but mainly for its large tree in the center of the city, which is said to power the whole city via its life force. Surrounding the tree lies most of the city's residential housing. Those who live here are quiet and well-composed, more interested in getting to and from work without getting lost or even worse; the crime here is quite questioning despite the city's overall reputation for hustle and bustle.
