Smootpoint Mountain
At the very northeastern peak of Etharia stands its largest mountain, Smootpoint. Also known as the "Giant's Peak", this mountain provides a beautiful bird's eye view of the entire continent, making it a popular mountain to climb for those daring enough to make the trek. Once an active volcano site, the mountain has been dormant for what is hypothesized to be over eight thousand years, with no visible intentions to erupt at any time soon.
Legends surrounding Smootpoint Mountain describe the founder of Etharia reaching its very peak during the early days of the continent's colonization and meeting a sage who granted him the wisdom and power to develop the continent to its highest potential, while still preserving the natural balance of the environment and it's living things. Needless to say, the legends may possibly be true.
