Kanehilua
Isolated from the rest of civilization lies the small village of Kanehilua, home to some of the most rugged and differently built individuals in Etharia. Bordered by the cold, daunting White Heights, this small village has almost zero contact with the outside world and likes it that way, only interacting with outsiders for trade and resources. Those who visit this village quickly turn back, the unforgiving, below-freezing temperatures too much of a hassle for those not used to such rough climates.
Those who live in Kanehilua are overly friendly and humble, willing to take the coat off their back for someone in need. Their hospitality and kind nature make them a joy to interact with, but those who live outside of the village do well to not take Kanehiluans' hidden strengths and skills for granted. Their tolerance for extreme climate proves a testament to their instinctual drive to overcome the harshest of obstacles, making them quite formidable people.
