The village of Ferncombe lies to the northeast of the popular trading hub, Aurelia. Butted up against the Turnmont Mountains, Ferncombe is well known for its love for animal husbandry. Ferncombe is a larger village, it's medieval-style buildings and large expanses of sheep pastures are a welcoming sight for those traveling north to the region of Grento. Chocked full of rustic taverns and comfortable inns, the village of Ferncombe is the perfect resting place for those traveling through on their trek to the large cities further north. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with hearty and jovial residents provides a homely feel to the entire village, and it isn't uncommon for travelers to stay a few extra nights to just enjoy the jubilant energy radiating from every corner of the area.
Not only is the village of Ferncombe well known for its lovely inns, taverns, and people, but also for its prowess in winemaking and pottery. Distilleries and vineyards litter the countryside and provide the taverns with local brews for tourists and travelers alike to take with them on their journeys. The streets are littered with pottery makers selling their wares, each piece handcrafted and painted with care, along with handwoven blankets and shawls. There is always something for everyone hiding within the markets in the town square, and though tourists know they must ultimately leave for their true destination, they always seem to keep coming back for more.
