Aredale
The village of Aredale lies in the centermost region of Lyndil, south of the haven of Rosehallow. It's nestled within the verdant hills and mountainsides, the area expansive and seemingly having no end. The homes in Aredale aren't as close together as most villages have them to be, the houses of the residents there are spaced out to provide its people with both privacy and the best viewshed of the wildflower fields the village is famous for. The winds are gentle, and always carry the scent of wild baby's breath, flowers dotting the landscape as far as the eye can see. Aredale is the prime spot for tourists and couples looking for the perfect wedding venue, the rural and picturesque landscape the perfect backdrop for a romantic union.
The people of Aeredale are kind and welcoming but tend to be people of few words. They'd rather keep to themselves and disregard tourists and such that flood the area, as many can be disrespectful of the village and the environment it fosters. As long as one does not go seeking out a local on purpose to pester them with questions, or desecrate the village like the stereotypical tourist, the people of Aredale won't mind if you stick around for a while.
