The Haven of

Rosehallow

ai-generated-8205344_960_720.jpg

In the center of Lyndil lies the most famous landmark of the kingdom, a haven of densely populated cherry blossom trees known as Rosehallow Thicket. Within the ethereal landscape of pink and soft reds lies the heavily secluded matriarchy of Rosehallow, a women-led and women-only society rich in culture. Rosehallow is completely cut off from the rest of society and for good reason, its closely linked past and traumas involving the previous royal family making the matriarch beg on hands and knees for a few decades of solitude and healing. It's said that the kings and princes under the previous royal bloodline took wives and concubines from Rosehallow, their naivety, and tendency to be soft-spoken once desirable amongst their kings.

The women of Rosehallow are very wary of outsiders, and will never allow a male even close to its heavily guarded entrance. Any woman desiring to study the culture, or even assimilate into life within the matriarchy needs to have the right networks and know the right people to even seek counsel with the matriarch, and go through rigorous screening to even be considered.
