Mount Infamy
To the north of the mainland lies Mount Infamy, its history in the kingdom of Lyndil giving the now inactive volcano its namesake. It is common knowledge that Mount Infamy played an integral part in the overthrowing of Lyndil's past royal family, Shortly after the royal family's demise, the volcano went dormant, but rumors that it will awaken once more at the first sign of corruption.
Despite the volcano's past and the unsavory feelings that come with it, the landscape around the volcano has flourished, becoming a prime spot for scientists and researchers to get up and close with the flora, fauna, and volcano itself for their studies. Tourists enjoy visiting the volcano as well, the picturesque and peaceful atmosphere a great spot for a photo or two.
