The City of
White Ridge
To the east lies White Ridge, the capital of the Kingdom of Lyndil, and home of the royal family. Lush with markets, artisans, and traveling merchants who have made the castle town their home, White Ridge is the hub of all hubs, despite being the second largest city in the kingdom (Grireden being the first). To the north of the castle town stands the illustrious and heavily fortified Taergoria Castle, a spectacle and popular landmark for tourists. White Ridge had once been in shambles, the coup that overthrew the previous royal bloodline destroying the castle town and surrounding city. Thankfully, the new royal family has put much care and work into reviving the city around their castle, offering monetary aid to merchants and aspiring shop owners to settle down and start their businesses here.
The people of White Ridge are either too busy to talk or have all the time in the world to do so. Many tour guides are stationed around the city to guide tourists through the city, showing off the sights, and allowing the people they guide to experience everything there is to White Ridge. Most of the people in White Ridge are there to make ends meet and sell their wares, but overall, the people are kind and always willing to assist.
