The Town of
Bloomwood
Situated on the northern side of Bloomwood Lake, this small-town relishes in the peaceful scenery that blesses the lakeside. Built in the early days of the valley's settlement, the town had spanned the northern and southernmost areas of the lake in an attempt to take advantage of the rich water source, the clear, pristine water a perfect source for growing crops and raising livestock- the town's earliest source of income.
As the town grew and prospered, however, its southernmost people began dabbling in the realms of alchemy and smithing, which maddened those who wished to not break from the town's history and common practices. Despite civil debates and multiple town meetings between the southern and northern parts of Bloomwood, with time it had ultimately split in two, the southern piece becoming the town of Woodhurst.
Bloomwood to this day still is most well-known for its farming prowess. Though the town's interest in raising larger livestock has declined, it isn't unnatural to see flocks of Hog Island sheep grazing to the west of the town, or a wandering goat resting at the foot of a resident's porch. Though quiet and reserved at first, Bloomwood's people are no stranger to the concepts of friendly hospitality and are quite welcoming folk if given the chance.
